Allen Jeffcoat attends 30th Annual North Carolina Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law Program (July 2009)
Allen Jeffcoat attended the 30th Annual North Carolina Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law Program of the Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law Section of the NC Bar Association, a 3-day intensive continuing legal education program held at Kiawah Island, SC on July 16, 17 and 18, 2009.
Mr. Jeffcoat attended presentations on recent developments in the law, repeal of the North Carolina rule against perpetuities, trust decanting, court pleadings involving trusts, sophisticated asset protection tools and technologies including offshore trusts, estate administration issues for the non-taxable estate, substance abuse, grantor trusts, and common estate planning and drafting issues.
Mr. Jeffcoat, who has attended the annual program since 1993, said "I always learn from this seminar, which helps keep me current with the newest trends and developments in the Estate Planning and Probate areas. My clients benefit from many of these developments, as do I."
