Allen Jeffcoat speaks to the Coastal Carolina Association of Realtors (2008)

Allen Jeffcoat was the keynote speaker for the May 2008 monthly meeting of the Coastal Carolina Association of Realtors. Speaking to over 100 realtors and other business people, Mr. Jeffcoat talked about the importance of a buyer purchasing title insurance at the time of closing. Most lenders require title insurance, which the buyer pays for, but this policy covers only the lender. For a nominal charge, buyers can, at time of closing, purchase a policy which will protect their interests in the event of a title dispute. If not purchased at closing, the buyer’s policy will be more expensive or may not be available at all.
