Allen Jeffcoat attends 25th Annual North Carolina Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law Program
Allen Jeffcoat attended the 25th Annual Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law Program of the Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law Section of the NC Bar Association, a 3-day intensive continuing legal education program held at Kiawah Island, SC on July 15, 16 and 17, 2004.
Mr. Jeffcoat attended presentations on litigation issues faced by estate planners, the Trust Administration Act, the Modification and Termination of Irrevocable Trusts Act, and the new Conversion to Unitrust Statutes, uses and abuses of powers of attorney, recent developments in Federal and North Carolina tax, estate planning, trust and estate administration and charitable giving, the new Principal and Income Act, valuation discounts, depression and substance abuse, and the possible repeal or reform of the federal estate tax.
Mr. Jeffcoat, who has attended the annual program since 1993, said “I always learn from this seminar, which helps keep me current with the newest trends and developments in the estate planning and probate areas. My clients benefit from many of these developments, as do I.”
